Virginia judge rules health care mandate unconstitutional
“Despite the laudable intentions of Congress in enacting a comprehensive and transformative health care regime, the legislative process must still operate within constitutional bounds,” Hudson added. “Salutatory goals and creative drafting have never been sufficient to offset an absence of enumerated powers.”
If you are not rich and you’re a republican, you’re a fucking idiot. If you’re part of the swing vote that is responsible for this, you’re a fucking idiot. Lame duck politics is what you morons voted in.

…if Republicans were truly interested in reducing the deficit while stimulating private-sector job creation, they would have jumped to embrace the idea floated last week by Sen. Mark Warner, the centrist Democrat from Virginia: let high-end tax rates return to where they were during the Clinton years and use the $65 billion in additional income over the next two years for tax breaks for businesses that increase investments or hire new employees. Does anyone have any FURTHER questions about why the economy of our country is in the toilet? Unemployment insurance is paid for by business owners…not tax payers. They are the ones who should be complaining. Either way, the cost is peanuts in comparison to the ridiculous amounts of money being spent in other sectors of our government. Can you imagine what an extra 12 Billion Dollars each month would do for our “Finanical Troubles”? 99.9% of us will never reap the benefit from either war that our country is in right now.
That being said, Obama did make some great promises to get elected, which at the time helped Americans feel good about our future and in a way united most of us together in belief that we could do it. It was kinda like somebody grabbing the steering wheel on the Titanic after the Captain jumped ship saying, “I got this. Everybody hold on…we’re going to Cancun!”
“The quarter-century-old law that Congress changed with the new bill has subjected tens of thousands of blacks to long prison terms for crack cocaine convictions while giving far more lenient sentences to those, mainly whites, caught with powder.”
